STUART ABLETT could make a dramatic return to the Wisbech starting line-up against Needham Market on Saturday at Fenland Park.
Midfielder Ablett missed the start of the season with a hamstring injury picked up in training four days before the first league game against Tiptree United. It was feared then that he would be out for at least a month.

But Fenmen manager Steve Taylor commented: "I am very hopeful Stuart can play on Saturday. He has responded well to treatment from physio Phil Ward, who will make the final decision.

"We have missed Ablett's runs from midfield and his presence will be a big plus for us against the Premier Division favourites.

"It will be a good test for us to see how far we have come. I just hope we have plenty of rain before Saturday, so it can dampen the Fenland Park pitch, which is very bobbly at the moment and making it difficult to play good football on."

Certainly Wisbech will have to produce a similar performance to the one they pulled off at Dereham last week if they are to stop Needham and give the Fenland Park faithful their first home win of the season.
