I FEEL I must write having just heard that the Stage Coach company are cutting out the little town bus, which is, for us elderly people, our lifeline to the town and to Tescos.
With the possibility of our St Peters Road Post Office closing, where does that leave us? Out on a limb.

It gives one great heart to see how us elderly people are being looked after in March.

It's a disgrace and the powers to be should be ashamed. It's obvious no thought has gone into the predicament this puts people like us in – are we past our sell by date?

Make people sit up and be counted. Some of us are veterans you know – not that that seems to matter.

A very upset senior citizen.

EILEEN WALDEN,
Shaftesbury Court,
March.
